Imagine a new place - it might be your dream small town, a Hogsmeade-like Harry Potter-esque magical location, a bustling new city, or maybe even a little island town...Oh, the places you’ll go (in your imagination)!

THINK:

Brainstorm your ideas together or independently and use scratch paper and pencil to draw out a plan

What is your place’s name?

What is this place known for?

What’s it like there?

What is the layout of the place?

CREATE:

Using a poster or large piece of cardboard (don’t have these? Try printer or scratch paper taped together on the back to make a large homemade poster), map out your town using pencil. Next, use colored pencils, markers, paint, or any art supplies you have to bring color to your map!

SHARE:

Take turns sharing your places and asking each other questions while imagining spending time there together.

Creative tip: Whether this is a magical, dream-like place or realistic town, try to think outside the box to make your imaginary place unique!
